The Dancing!

Amongst all of the fun that goes on at the Great Britain Championships, we should not forget the purpose of the event -- the dancing. There are excellent settings for our Great Britain Championships arranged in three venues: 'Centre Stage', 'Reds' and the 'Rendezvous Conference Centre'. Centre Stage and Reds have permanent stages, while a custom-built stage will be erected in the Rendezvous. All stages will be covered with Harlequin flooring.

Centre Stage

Centre Stage is a purpose-built auditorium seating 1200 people, with three bars, and state-of-the-art lighting and sound facilities.

Reds

Reds is a more intimate nightclub setting, seating 800 spectators. Reds will also be the base for our planned Irish Dancing entertainments.

The Rendezvous Conference Centre

To give it its full name, the 'Shoreline Conference Centre, Rendezvous Suite' is a purpose-built conference centre seating 400 people. This will be the base for all Great Britain Championships office functions, enquiry desk, programme and marks sales, collection of numbers, and the home of the main feis vendors. There will also be teachers' and adjudicators' lounges within this area.
