Entertainment
SERC and Butlins are working on a package of entertainment to work
alongside our competition schedule.
As usual, Centre Stage will close for competitions at 6.30pm, whilst
the Butlins team prepares the venue for that night's entertainment. Last
year, for instance, the ABBA PARTY appeared on
the Friday night and GEORGE SAMPSONS STREET PARTY (Winner
of BGT 2008) on the Sunday night.
Also as usual, Reds will host our OPENING PARTY on the
Friday night.
The Irish Bar will again be our late night venue staying open till 3am
each morning.
New for this year will be some additional entertainment revolving around
the sports bar such as pool and darts competitions as well as a 5-aside
football tournament on the new astro turf sports pitches.
And don't forget it's all INCLUDED in the accommodation rate!

Finally, please don't forget that the GBs is a major Irish dancing championships and competitors need a decent night's sleep before they dance. If you're partying late -- especially after you've danced -- PLEASE have respect for those who may be dancing next day.
